The case
Deep decay that had reached the nerve, with spontaneous pain at night. The tooth was salvageable, but little healthy structure was left.

What we did
A root canal across two visits under local anaesthetic, a fibreglass post for support, and a crown to protect the rebuilt tooth.

Outcome
The natural tooth was preserved, which is always the first option when the prognosis allows it. Pain-free and in function since.
